Etna was the engineer on-board the Kraken, and when things started to get out of hand he managed to save himself, fighting through the aberrations of Andromeda 1.0, using his faithful plasma sword.
He and Captain Arcade fought shoulder to shoulder as they were slowly overpowered by the enemies.
